Columbus, OH — Due to the rising popularity of the National Standardbred Show, the 2013 edition will be held over two days — September 7 and 8.
Activities will start at 2 p.m., ET on Saturday (Sept 7) and 8 a.m. on Sunday (Sept 8). The U.S. Trotting Association is the sponsor of the Fresh Off The Track Division, which is open to horses that have raced during the calendar year. This division is made up of three classes: In-Hand, Under Saddle and In Harness.
There are classes for all — no matter what class you want to show your horse in. Other divisions include Showmanship, In-Hand, Western, Jumper, Dressage, English, Hunter, Equitation, Speed, Fun, Driving, Roadster and War Horse, for horses that have earned more than $200,000 while racing, have made over 100 lifetime starts or are over 20 years of age.
The annual show is presented jointly by the Standardbred Pleasure Horse Organization of New Jersey, Inc. (SPHO-NJ), the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey, Inc. (SBOA-NJ) and the U.S. Trotting Association. All events will be at the Horse Park of New Jersey in Allentown.
