New York Sire Stakes releases revised schedule

Schenectady, NY – The New York Sire Stakes program has released an updated stakes calendar with date changes for nine upcoming Sire Stakes and Excelsior events. Participants should mark their calendars accordingly. The revised schedule can be found here.

The changes by division are listed below:

  • 3-Year-Old Colt Pacers
      • Saturday, August 21 at Vernon changed to Friday, August 20 at Vernon
  • 3-Year-Old Colt Trotters
      • Tuesday, July 27 at Saratoga to Tuesday, July 20 at Saratoga
      • Monday, August 9 at Monticello to Wednesday, August 11 at Monticello
      • Friday, August 20 at Tioga to Saturday, August 21 at Tioga
  • 3-Year-Old Filly Trotters
      • Tuesday, August 10 at Yonkers to Monday, August 9 at Yonkers
      • Wednesday, August 18 at Saratoga to Tuesday, August 17 at Saratoga
  • 2-Year-Old Filly Paces
      • Wednesday, August 11 at Saratoga to Tuesday, August 10 at Saratoga
  • 2-Year-Old Colt Trotters
      • Wednesday, August 25 at Saratoga to Monday, August 23 at Saratoga
  • 2-Year-Old Filly Trotters
    • Tuesday, August 17 at Yonkers to Thursday, August 19 at Yonkers

About the Agriculture & NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund:
The Agriculture & NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund is a public benefit corporation established in 1965 by the Laverne Law (Laws of New York, Chapter 567 of the Laws of 1965). The mission of the fund is to promote agriculture through the breeding of Standardbred horses and the conduct of equine research within the state. To carry out its legislative mission, the Fund administers the New York Sire Stakes races, Excelsior/State Fair Series races, and County Fair Races.
