Nominees announced for 2019 Dan Patch Free-For-All at Running Aces

Columbus, MN — Running Aces is proud to announce the list of horses that have been nominated to the 2019 Dan Patch Free-For-All Pace on Sunday (July 21), the featured event during our annual Dan Patch weekend.

A total of 19 pacers have been nominated, comprised of 17 geldings, one stallion, and one mare. The nominees range in age from 4 to 10-years-old. As a group, the 19 nominees have earned over $3.4 million and have won over 400 races collectively.

The headliners among this year’s entries include 2018 Dan Patch Free-For-All winner Nine Ways ($221,906) as well as 2017 winner and 2018 runner-up Firedrake ($168,024) and 2019 Camluck Classic runner-up Rockin Speed ($210,928) as well as Illinois sensation Fox Valley Gemini ($333,666).

Leading the group in terms of career numbers is the classy veteran Holdingallthecards ($562,530).

The lone stallion in the group is Major Legacy ($93,725) and the lone mare in this year’s list of nominees is Juslikeaqueen ($266,080)

The elimination races will be held on Sunday (July 14) for $15,000 each. The top five finishers from each elimination will advance to the $50,000 final on Sunday (July 21).
