Columbus, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs will host a non-winners of one series for 3-5-year-old Ohio sired horses starting next week. Named for past presidents and general managers of the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association, each series will consist of two legs and a final.

The Jerry Knappenberger for horse and gelding pacers-starts Tuesday (May 11)
The Kevin Greenfield for horse and gelding trotters-starts Wednesday (May 12)
The John Konesky III for filly and mare trotters-starts Thursday (May 13)
The Steve McCoy for filly and mare pacers-starts Friday (May 14)

An entry fee of $100 is due for horses entering the first leg. Horses that miss the first leg and enter the second must pay a $200 entry fee. Each leg will go for $8,000G and the final for $13,000A.

Also written on each day is the standard non-winners of one, Ohio-sired preferred, for horses that do not want to or cannot race in the series because they are not Ohio-sired.

The box closes at 2 p.m. Friday (May 7) for the Tuesday (May 11) card that carries the Jerry Knappenberger.

Live racing is held at Eldorado Scioto Downs each Tuesday-Saturday through Saturday (Sept. 18). Special cards will be held on Memorial Day and July 4th. View the entire 2021 racing schedule here.
