Northfield, OH — To help fill the gaps between legs in the Ohio Sires Stakes calendar, MGM Northfield Park will add three overnight races for OSS-eligible sophomores in the coming weeks.

For Saturday, June 4 (draw Tuesday, May 31), an event for OSS-eligible 3-year-old trotting fillies will be written with a purse of $20,000 ($17,500 per division if two or more).

Events with the same conditions for OSS-eligible 3-year-old pacing fillies and 3-year-old male trotters will be written for June 11 (draw June 7), which is also the night of the $200,000 Battle of Lake Erie. The second leg of the OSS for 3-year-old male pacers will also be contested at Northfield that night.

A $35,000 Invitational for older Ohio-sired pacing mares will also be contested on the Battle of Lake Erie undercard.
