Schenectady, NY — The New York Sire Stakes has announced changes to its schedule affecting the Excelsior finals and the remaining NYSS two divisions scheduled to race at Monticello Raceway.

The Excelsior finals will now be held Friday (Sept. 11) at Tioga Downs, instead of Sept. 19 as previously scheduled. This is one day before the NYSS finals at Yonkers. Protocols for the finals at Yonkers have not yet been determined and horsemen that may have horses competing on both nights should know we will take the challenges of this scheduling change into consideration.

Monday (Aug. 24) at Monticello moved to Saratoga (same date)

3-Year-Old Colt Trot
Monday (Aug. 31) at Monticello moved to Friday (Sept. 4) at Vernon Downs
