Ohio Fair Racing Conference virtual awards show scheduled for Nov. 21

Grove City, OH — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ohio Fair Racing Conference will not hold an annual banquet but will instead present its 2020 awards via a virtual awards show. The show is scheduled to premiere on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association YouTube Channel Saturday (Nov. 21) at 7 p.m.

OFRC Coordinator Bill Peters says despite COVID-19, it was a great year of racing in the OFRC.

“Several adjustments were made at the fairs in the Ohio Fair Racing Conference to abide by the pandemic protocols. Most of the horsemen and the race officials adapted well to the changes, and the season went relatively well.”

Peters says for the safety of the horsemen it was decided to cancel the seventh annual banquet and produce a virtual awards show.

“I want to thank the staff of the OHHA, Trot and Pace Marketing and our sponsors for making this possible.”
