East Rutherford, NJ — The Meadowlands will offer the first of a series of Open races for all gaits and sexes of older horses for a purse of $30,000 on Saturday (April 27).

These opens have been spaced throughout the Meadowlands season to provide a race when there is a gap in the stakes schedule. All four groups will have three or four legs with the purse increasing for each, to $35,000 for the second and $40,000 for the third of the races with the top performers eligible to a $60,000 final.
