Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020

Last Saturday night I hit it for the fourth time this meet, and the return was excellent considering that I singled Odds On Lauderdale, who just got up in the shadow of the wire from post 10 and paid $4.40. The Pick-4 paid $740.95 for 50 cents, and my total wager was $32, my ticket was 4-1-4-4. It’s a good thing I used all four of my listed contenders in the other three races. Meet record: 28 Pick-4s, four won, 24 lost, plus $908.90.

50-cent play: 8/128,10/68/137 = $12

Analysis:

Race 7: It took me a while to handicap this race, so it’s pretty wide open, but I eventually took (8) Milady Denver A and made her the best bet on the card. Her form is solid and she gets a better post after closing well from post 10. If I was going to spread, I would include the 6 and 7.

Race 8: This race is tough, I’m using all four of my listed contenders, 1, 2, 8, 10.

Race 9: (6) Spilling The Beans needed last and gets a better post. (8) Sew Psyched is in good form.

Race 10: Pretty wide open race. The 1, 3, 7 are all in good form.
