Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Friday, Jan. 24, 2020

Last Saturday I had the first three then missed the 11th race by a nose, minus $18. I did very well in the Fall meet that just ended, 28 Pick-4s, four winning tickets, plus $908.90. Winter meet record: six Pick-4s, zero won, six lost, minus $103.

Tonight’s tickets:

50-cent play: 6/4/2457/all = $20

Analysis:

Race 8: (6) Very Very Fast looks tough here, as he faces weaker. If I was going to spend more, I would include (4) Say You Do, but I singled Very Very Fast.

Race 9: (4) Sudden Passing is the one to beat for top connections. I’m going to try a single. If I was using another horse, I’d use the (3) Apple Hanover.

Race 10: This race is pretty tough. I think (7) Mr Houdini could be tough to beat but others are dropping so I used all four of my listed contenders, 2, 4, 5, 7.

Race 11: This race is really difficult to handicap. I used them all.
