Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Friday, Jan. 3, 2019

No luck last night, not really close in the Pick-4. I did very well in the Fall meet that just ended, A total of 28 Pick-4s, four winning tickets, plus $908.90. Winter meet record: one Pick-4, zero won, one lost, minus $12.

Tonight’s tickets:

50-cent play: 34/17/6/4,10 = $4
50-cent play: 134/17/6/4,10 = $6

Analysis:

Race 8: (3) Sandy Win comes off two wins against similar and Connor keeps her in for the $60,000 tag so she should be tough again. (4) Major Occasion A faced good ones down under and qualified well. I’ll include (1) Baron Remy on my second ticket.

Race 9: (7) Thisguyisonfire may be some value here as he gets a better post and a catch driver. (1) Morairtime shipped in last week and raced sharply on the front end.

Race 10: (6) Zagster could be tough to beat as he drops for a live barn off a less-than-easy trip from post nine.

Race 11: (4) La Grange A could be much the best here. He was game finishing second to a sharp drop down winner in last and he draws better here. (10) Very Very Fast was claimed by the trainer who finished first in wins at the Fall meet that just ended.
