I now have a profit for the championship meet but this year I’ve kept records from Jan. 1. 2019 record, 55 Pick-4s, four winners at $234.50, $369.60, $107.50 and $27.50, minus $303.40.

Tonight’s tickets:

50-cent play: 24/34/5/157 = $6
$1 play: 24/3/5/157 = $6

Analysis:

Race 8: (2) Bestseller Hanover and (4) Abigail Dawn are closely matched in this race.

Race 9: (3) Synergy was impressive winning his debut. (4) Hayek broke in his debut but I think he has ability.

Race 10: (5) Surfing Tide is my Best Bet and a single here. He came off a four month layoff facing much better at Philadelphia last start and he raced okay. This is clearly his best track as he won here last year and this year and took his mark over this track.

Race 11: This is the toughest race of the sequence. I’m using three, 1, 5, 7. I picked (5) C’mon Buzz Off, who takes a key drop and picks up Tim Tetrick.
