I’ll start the bankroll again tonight. I hit the Pick-4 on closing day. It paid $15.50 for 50-cents and I had it four times for a return of $62 on a $12 wager. I had a profit for the championship meet but this year I’ve kept records from Jan. 1. 2019 record, 62 Pick 4-s, seven winners at $234.50, $369.60, $107.50, $27.50, $31.00, $62.00, minus $263.40.

50-cent play: 14/27/148/48 = $12

Analysis:

Race 8: (1) Rocknificent was used hard leaving and shuffled with pace in last at Lexington. (4) Hen Party never got into the race in last but Burke shipper seems to fit here.

Race 9: (2) Odds On St Lucie chased much faster in last. (7) Jewels Forreal ships in sharp for a high-percentage trainer.

Race 10: This may be the most competitive race of the sequence. (1) Marloe Hanover has won two in a row including a stakes race. (4) Baby Your The Best was used hard in last, held well behind (8) Annabelle Hanover.

Race 11: (4) Ataboy Hanover may have a class edge here. (8) Lucky Sheila is my top pick, showed improvement in first start for this barn.
