Pat Thomas, 81, dies

Columbus, OH — Pat E. Thomas, 81, of Eighty Four, Nottingham Township, Pa., died Nov. 18, 2020, at his home.

He was born Sept. 9, 1939, in Barberville, Fla., a son of Jack and Mary Helen McMillan Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a retired Standardbred trainer at The Meadows Racetrack.

He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church in Washington, the United States Trotting Association, and was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Patton Thomas; son, Kenneth (Helen); daughter, Linda (Roy Barnhart); grandchildren, Kenny, Bobby and Abbey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends will be received Sunday (Nov. 22) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Ave., Finleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (Nov. 23) with Pastor Jeff Diedrich officiating. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
