Freehold, NJ — Charlie Leerhsen, whose book “Dan Patch: The Story of the Best Horse in America,” will be released on June 3, 2008 by Simon and Schuster, is looking for help in assembling photos of the people involved in Dan Patch’s life.

To illustrate the book, Leerhsen is specifically looking for photos of trainer/driver Myron McHenry, as well as Dan Patch’s original owner Dan Messner and his original trainer/driver John Wattles.
