Plainville, MA — In preparation for the earliest opening in track history, Plainridge Racecourse has scheduled the first qualifying sessions of the 2007 season. Qualifying races will be held on Monday, March 12 and Thursday, March 15. Post time for each day’s qualifiers will be at 12:00 noon.

Plainridge Racecourse opens its 2007 season on Monday, March 19, and with the later than normal resumption of live racing in Maine, the Massachusetts track will kick off what promises to be a very busy harness racing season in New England. Throughout March, April and May, Plainridge Racecourse will conduct live racing each Monday and Tuesday, with a 4:00 p.m. post time. Beginning in June, the track will add Thursdays to its schedule, with the same 4:00 p.m. post.

The Plainridge racing office will be open on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10 to take entries for the initial qualifying session. A double draw for the season’s first two cards will take place on Thursday, March 15.
