Plainridge resumes racing on Friday

from Plainridge Park

Plainville, MA — The enabling legislation to allow racing and simulcasting in Massachusetts has passed through the Legislature and has been signed into law by the Governor.

As a result live racing will resume Friday (Aug. 3) at Plainridge Park Casino. Post time will be at 4 p.m.

The track was forced to postpone the card scheduled for Thursday (Aug. 2) until Friday (Aug. 3) after the legislation permitting live racing in the Commonwealth lapsed on Wednesday.

Thursday’s double draw for Monday and Tuesday will take place as scheduled later this afternoon.

Plainridge Park management appreciates everyone’s understanding and patience over the past couple of days.
