Pro Bono Best moves to Indiana

Columbus, OH — Pro Bono Best p,2,1:51s ($509,717), will be standing at Schwartz Boarding Farm, LLC in Indiana for the 2008 breeding season.

The 9-year-old son of Cambest-Lady Is A Pro is owned by John Levy Racing Ltd., Des Tackoor Racing Inc. and Mark Scholes. He was trained throughout his career by Des Tackoor.

Pro Bono Best stood his first year in Kentucky in 2002 and has been in New York for the past five seasons.

Of his three crops currently racing, Pro Bono Best has produced 161 starters, 83 of which have 2:00 records and 34 that have marks of 1:55. He has also produced eight $100,000 winners, led by the gelding Bono Bests p,4,1:49.3 ($290,205).

For the 2007 breeding season, Pro Bono Best stood for a fee of $4,000. At the Schwartz Boarding Farm in 2008, he will stand for a fee of $3,000.

An exceptional mare discount will also be available if the mare earned $100,000 or more; has a mark of 1:55 or better; or has produced progeny in 1:55 or better. If any of the three criteria are met, the owner will receive a second breeding for free in the same or following year.
