Top Swedish top trotter Readly Express is the first invite to the prestigious Elitlopp to be raced on Sunday May 26 at Solvalla in Sweden.

But that race will be the last of Readly Express’ career because he will go to stud at Menhammar Stud in Sweden the day after the race.

Readly Express will stand for 5,000 SEK by booking + 85,000 SEK live foal – that is $9,700 US dollars.

Seven-year old Readly Express, who has raced 34 times with 24 wins and a lifetime mark of 1.52.2f, has career earnings of $2.2 million US dollars.

Last Sunday (Feb. 10), Readly Express won the Grand Prix de France at Vincennes in very impressive style.  In Europe, he is widely recognized as possibly the world’s best trotter at present.

The next race for Readly Express could be the Grand Criterium de Vitesse at Cagnes sur Mer in Southern France on Sunday, March 10.

It would be the first time Readly Express races over a mile as so far in his career, he has not raced over shorter distances than 1-5/16 mile.
