Ready Cash offspring win two Vincennes Group races

It was business as usual at Vincennes Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9) as two Group-races for 3-year-olds both were won by offspring of Ready Cash.

The colts met in the Prix Abel Bassigny with Gotland, driven by Eric Raffin and trained by Phillipe Allaire, winning followed by stablemate Golden Bridge driven by Yoann Leborgeois in second. Both colts were sired by Ready Cash.

Third and fourth-placed Get Happy and Gats Perrine, both sired by Bird Parker, a son of Ready Cash.

In the filly division, Gunilla d’Atout, also with Eric Raffin in the bike, crossed the finish line first.  The daughter of Ready Cash is trained by Sebastian Guarato.

Second-placed Girls Talk is sired by Brillantissime, another successful son of Ready Cash.

Each race had a total purse of $110,000 with a winner’s share of $50,000.

Also on the card, elder trotters met in the Prix du Languedoc, raced over 1-3/4 miles for a purse of $90,000.

The 7-year old mare, Chica des Joudes trained and driven by Alain Laurent won in a close finish followed by Coach Franbleu.
