Roadster wins $15,000 USTA Classic at horse show

The World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky was host to the 10th annual United States Trotting Association’s Roadster to Bike Class. Entries must be registered with the USTA or CTA and cannot have been shown prior to August 28, 2005.

The winner Wuddacomeover was driven by Debbie Foley and is owned by Luanne Kilday. Wuddacomeover is by Overcomer and out of the mare Cuddashuddawudda. The 8-year-old bay horse was bred by Success Acres and had a mark of 1:58.1z on the track before his career as a Road Horse.

Second in the class went to The Dream Thief with Ruth Gimpel in the bike for Helen and James Rosberg and the yellow ribbon for third went to Matt T Tup with Steve Hanks for owner Edward Case.

The horses shown in the Roadster Classes are often trotters off the track. They are shown at a jog trot, road gait and at speed and are judged on performance, speed, quality and manners.
