Millstone, NJ – The date for a fundraising golf tournament that will be held in Cream Ridge, NJ to benefit trainer Ross “The Crocodile Man” Croghan has been changed to Wednesday, Aug. 10.  Croghan, a native of Sydney, Australia, is recovering from complications suffered during a procedure to repair a broken vertebrae on June 1, 2020.

Ross, who is known for being ranked among the all-time leaders in training wins at The Meadowlands, capturing Big M training titles in 1999, 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2008, has undergone eight additional surgeries and five skin graphics as a result of a post-operative infection that has caused a fluid build-up in his body that needs to be drained twice a month.

Due to his condition, he has been unable to train his horses and has lost all but one horse from the 28 that he was training at the time of the original operation.

WHEN:  Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022 — 11:30 a.m. shotgun start

WHERE:  Gambler Ridge Golf Club – 121 Burlington Path Road, Cream Ridge NJ 08514.

Tournament:  Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. Scorecards on carts. Hot dogs 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

BBQ chicken, burgers, brats, hot dogs, pasta, French fries and cole slaw plus beer and wine after the round.
