Tim Tetrick sent Scirocco Rob right to the top from post seven and coasted through fractions of :27.4, :57.4 and 1:25.4. Pappy Go Go made a first-over push down the backstretch but could not gain on the leader — and neither could No Drama Please and driver Corey Callahan from the pocket. Scirocco Rob, who was sent off the 4-5 favorite, used a :27.3 last quarter to win by a measured 1-3/4 lengths in 1:53.2. No Drama Please was second; Jack Vernon (Art Stafford Jr.) was third.

Scirocco Rob, a son of Explosive Matter, is trained by Mark Silva for owners Kathleen and Lewis Whitaker.

Four divisions of the Matron Stakes for 3-year-olds will be contested on Thursday (Nov. 12).

Post time at Dover Downs is 4:30 p.m.
