The Italian 3-year-old trotter Cobra Killer Gar won in impressive style Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 24) at the track in Turin in 1:56.3f, the fastest record by a 3-year-old in Europe and on a five-eighths-mile track in the world in 2021.

Cobra Killer Gar, who is sired by Readly Express, is trained and driven by Alessandro Gocciadoro.

The colt was sold for 120,000 Euro as a yearling. His dam had earlier brought Shadow Gar (sired by Pine Chip) 1:51.1f (592,434 Euro) and Vincero Gar (sired by SJ’s Photo) 1:54.1f (189,884 Euro). The dam is Lady Killer Gar, sired by Varenne.
