Shebestingin was a 1:50.4 winner for driver David Miller.

Getting away third in a field of six, Shebestingin waited as Jim Morrill, Jr. and Give Me An Amen took the field by the quarter in :28.1. As the field headed towards the half, Give Me An Amen was still in control in :56.2 as Shebestingin began her first over bid.

Down the backside, Shebestingin unleashed a wicked :26.1 third quarter brush to clear and open up on the field by the three-quarters in 1:22.3. Around the final turn, the question was not if but by how many for Shebestingin, who crossed the wire shut down in 1:50.4.

Joe Holloway trains the daughter of Bettor’s Delight–Armbro Tussie for Val D’Or Farms, Theodore Gewertz and L&L Devisser. The win was the sixth of the year in ten starts for Shebestingin, who increased her seasonal earnings to more than $176,000.

In the other division for 3-year-old pacing fillies, JK Black Beauty and David Miller captured the five horse race in first-over fashion with a new lifetime best of 1:52 for trainer Linda Toscano.

In a division for 3-year-old pacing colts, Bet The Moon and Jim Marohn, Jr. upset the heavily favored Doctor Butch (Jim Morrill, Jr.) after sitting the pocket through fractions of :27.2, :56.2 and 1:23.4.

As the field headed down the stretch, Marohn pulled Bet The Moon to the outside and paced by the pacesetter to win by 1-1/4 lengths in a new lifetime best of 1:51.4.

Ron Burke trains the son of Bettor’s Delight–Sun N Moon for Edwin Gold.

Don’t Ya Know (David Miller) captured the other division for pacing colts with a front end victory in 1:52.3 for trainer Joe Holloway.
