Campbellville, ON — Racing fans will be treated to first class racing on a special Canada Day card this Sunday, July 1 at Mohawk.

The Campbellville oval will offer 10 exciting races including two divisions of the Miss Versatility, featuring North America’s top older trotting mares.

Pembroke Heat Wave, who recently captured the Armbro Flight final at Mohawk on June 16, will headline the first of two divisions on the program.

As part of the undercard, five C$24,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots events will showcase 2-year-old pacing fillies.

Also, for the first time, WEG will host a one-mile dash featuring trotters under saddle. The trotters and their riders will line up behind the starting gate in the non-wagering event following the third race.
