SRF craft beer and wine tasting; meet new foal on May 18

Cream Ridge, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation invites all for a day of sheer enjoyment; meet the new foal born to SRF. Come taste craft beer and wine, along with 65 available adoptable horses looking for their forever homes.

The meet and greet is on Saturday (May 18) from 3-5 p.m. at the farm location, 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Rd., Cream Ridge, N.J.

Many horses will be shown under saddle in both Western and English disciplines with our trainer and volunteers. Come meet the little fuzzy nose of the foal whose mom came to us in need of a place to have her baby. Staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding adoption, fostering, the organization, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and information regarding horse sponsorship. Volunteer riders are needed for the event as well.

Adoption applications must be approved before to secure a horse available for adoption that you may fall in love with at the event. The foal may also be available for a home when weaned in the near future. Most horses are not on the website, they are often adopted before they are posted, but they will be on hand to meet. Visit our Facebook page the morning of the event to check for any weather related date changes.
