Plainville, MA — The annual meeting and awards banquet of the Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts which was scheduled to take place on Sunday (Dec. 1) has been canceled due to the impending winter storm set to strike the state on Sunday.

The snow, sleet and rain mix forecast to hit the area in the afternoon is a concern and the organization’s concern for its members’ safety is the reason for this decision.

The event may be rescheduled at a later date and information on that will be made available and forwarded to all members when a decision is made.
