Standardbreds to head to the Kentucky Horse Park

Kingston, OH — Ohio Standardbreds & Friends will head to the Kentucky Horse Park for a weekend of breed demos April 21-23.

Demos will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Standardbreds representing the breed are: Stud’s Hooligan-jumping; BeauClaire Bono–Dressage; Allamerican Legacy-Costume; Moonlight Fantasy–Ranch Pleasure; Lace N Ribbons–Dressage; Fox Valley Lee–English Pleasure; Bella Americana–gaited Saddleseat; Dins Ghost–Western Pleasure; Feelin Shady–Hunter Under Saddle; and Powerlifter-Trail and Silver Match–Saddleseat.

This group is excited to be participating in the breed demos this year which marks nine years that several of these horses have participated in demos at the Park.

Seven of the 11 horses were adopted through New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program which continues to help sponsor the OSAF group as they promote the breed through demos, their Summer Show Series, the Standardbred World Show and other public events.

Come to Kentucky and join the group as they reach out to the visitors at the Park through the demonstrations which showcase the versatility, demeanor and loving spirits of the breed.

Coloring books for the kids from the USTA will be available, as well as information on how to adopt a Standardbred, information about OSAF and all the events scheduled in 2017 to promote the breed.
