Sunday kicks off racing season at Goshen Historic Track

Goshen, NY — Sunday (June 16) kicks off the racing season at Goshen Historic Track. Titled the first annual First Responders Family Day, the track will offer food, raffles, ice cream, a bouncy house, multiple state police demonstrations and plenty more, including exciting harness racing.

There will also be an exhibition race with all departments competing against each other for proper bragging rights.

Entries are now being taken and the box will close at 10 a.m. Friday (June 14). We will have 2- and 3-year-old races as well as opens for all trainers looking to qualify for local tracks. A RUS race will also be held. Electronic eligibilities are required as well as a negative coggins and rabies slip. There is no entry fee and online entering is available. All drives count towards licenses.
