Sweden’s Calgary Game marches on

Gothenburg, SE — 4-year old Swedish trotter, Calgary Game trained by owner Timo Nurmos and with Jorma Kontio in the bike continued his winning streak in the European trotting Derby, Grand Prix de l’UET raced Saturday afternoon (Oct. 9th) at Aby racetrack.

This was lifetime start number 9 for Calgary Game, and the trotter is still undefeated – a month ago Calgary Game won the Swedish Trotting Derby.

The purse for the winner was $230,000 bringing his lifetime earnings to $755,000.

On the same card, the UET 5 -year old Championship was won by Danish trotter, Extreme with trainer/driver Steen Juul, 71 in the bike, while the 3-year old Championship saw the French trotter, Ivensong with David Thomain as the winner.
