Harrington, DE — R. Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman’s Time Flies N ($44.60) won her second straight race in the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace on Tuesday (September 27) at Harrington Raceway.

The Chuck Crissman-trainee was driven by Brad Hanners, who sent the six-year-old In The Pocket mare to the front with a sizzling pace of :27, :55.3, and 1:24.3. With Go Flyin N charging hard late, Time Flies N dug in for a half length win. Jenny’s Picnic was third. The win pushed Time Flies N over the $90,000 mark in seasonal earnings and $356,000 lifetime.

In the sixth race, Paul McDougall and WJ McDougall Racing’s Four Winds N (1:55.3, Ross Wolfenden), improved to four-for-five in North America with an impressive wire-to-wire win for trainer Peter Tritton. The five-year-old Beach Towel mare is the first foreign-bred by the aforementioned sire to race at Harrington. Other American-bred Beach Towel-sired horses such as Timbo Timbo and Beach Romeo have previously held track records at Harrington.

11 different drivers won races on the 15 race program. Eddie Davis, Jr., Victor Kirby, Ross Wolfenden and Brad Hanners each won two races on the card.

Racing continues on Wednesday with the featured $18,500 Preferred Trot.
