Transition training videos launched on YouTube

Millstone, NJ — Robyn Cuffey, who has trained hundreds of Standardbreds for transition from racing to riding, has released a four-part video series on preparing Standardbreds to canter, entitled Cantering With a Standardbred.

Cuffey covers every step of the process, including assessing readiness for the gait unfamiliar to most Standardbreds.

Produced and edited by Smooth Feather Productions, the series was shot at the Hollis (Maine) Horse Park and features a variety of Standardbreds in progressive stages of training. The Cantering With a Standardbred series consists of:

Part One – Evaluating The Horse
Part Two – Adding The Rider
Part Three – More Consistency
Part Four – More Advanced

The video is sponsored by Divine Equine, custom tack for racing and riding Standardbreds, and Best of Both, an Airbnb on a Standardbred farm in Vermont.
