Wilkes-Barre, PA — The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono is currently seeking candidates for two open racing positions: Racing Clerk and Assistant Racing Secretary.

The Racing Clerk will assist judges in posting the running numbers on the toteboard, work with the Race Office in running claims, and various other duties as assigned on race days. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, general computer skills, and a complete knowledge of saddle pad colors to be able to identify horse numbers during a race.

The Assistant Racing Secretary oversees daily operations of the Race Office and assists the Director of Racing. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or 1-3 years related experience. A strong knowledge of harness racing/racing office procedures is preferred. This is a seasonal, full-time, hourly position with benefits.
