USTA sponsors Speed Racking

Columbus, OH — The USTA is a 2011 sponsor of the Speed Racking Group Celebration & Trail Ride.
The event takes place April 7-9 at the East Fork Stables in Jamestown, Tenn. Proceeds from the trail ride and show go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The USTA is sponsoring the Speed Pacing Race (class #14) which is a 2×2 race. Two horses race against each other with the winner moving ahead to the next round, in similar fashion to how teams advance in NCAA basketball’s March Madness.
The Speed Pacing Race is strictly a race for Standardbreds and the breed is the number one horse at the show.
“The show is such a fun event and really gives the Standardbreds that cannot race or ride a ring a chance at another life,” said Susie Wright, one of the event’s organizers.
