Western Fame tops Tuesday’s onGait.com auctions

Boca Raton. FL — Western Fame p,1:48.1f ($1,822,775) sold on Tuesday afternoon at onGait.com, bringing a high bid of $114,000 from Ronald Gold of New Jersey.

The son of Western Ideal is currently facing the best pacers in the country in the Borgata Series at Yonkers. The partnership of Bruce Soulsby, Stephen Klunowski, B & I Stables and Kapildeo Singh were the sellers.

Also on Tuesday, Lyons Girlhanover p,1:52.2s, a 6-year-old daughter of Well Said racing in Ontario until the shutdown, sold for $20,400 to Larry Stalbaum of New York.

Among the horses presently in the ring are Lyons Liberty p,3,1:53s, a 4-year-old by American Ideal coming out of the Snowshoe Series at Mohawk; Fly Eagle Fly 4,1:57s-’21, a son of International trotting star Bold Eagle, fresh off his lifetime mark; and the race ready Captaintreacherous 4-year-old Commander Hill p,3,1:52.1f.
