Wild Wild Western cruises in meadows Monday feature

Washington, PA – Wild Wild Western zipped to the front from post six and never had an anxious moment as he cruised to victory in Monday’s (Aug. 3) feature at The Meadows, a $10,800 Conditioned Pace.

Although Wlld Wild Western had several strong performance this year, including a pair of checks in Graduate series legs, he was without a win in four 2020 starts. The son of Western Ideal-Caila Fra changed that arithmetic when he seated Real Peace and had little trouble downing him by a neck in 1:51.4 for Mike Wilder. Mister Spot A raced well first over for show.

Wilder collected four wins on the 15-race card, including a pair for trainer Dan Altmeyer, while Dan Rawlings fashioned a three-bagger.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Tuesday (Aug.4) when the 15-race program features a trio of rich wagering opportunities: a $5,000 total-pool guarantee for the Early Pick-4 (race three); a $4,509.21 carryover in the Early Pick-5 (race two), a $1,096.65 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
