Anderson, IN — With no winners in the Pick-4 sequence on Wednesday (Aug. 12), a $5,493.69 carryover will jump-start a $20,000 Pick-4 guaranteed pool at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Thursday (Aug. 13). In partnership with the Indiana Standardbred Association and the United States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering Program, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer the guaranteed sequence for races three through six on Thursday.
Wednesday’s Pick-4 saw three of the four winners pay double digits to win, most significantly by race five’s Shpillkeys, who Ricky Macomber Jr. drove to a 32-1 victory. Macomber also capped off the sequence with Candy’s Desire paying $25.00 to win.
In addition to the guaranteed Pick-4 pool, the evening’s 12-race card will feature a $10,000 guaranteed Hoosier High-5 Pool on the final race of the evening. Thursday’s action-packed card will be a precursor to Friday (Aug. 14), as Harrah’s Hoosier Park hosts the $225,000 Dan Patch Stakes. A field of 10 top older pacers has been assembled for the 27th edition of the Dan Patch Stakes.
Free past performances for Thursday’s 12-race card will be available on Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s website along with free past performances for races three through six on the United States Trotting Association website. The 12-race card will also include the $10,000 guaranteed Hoosier High-5 in the 14th race of the program. Free past performances for the nightly pentefecta are available on Harrah’s Hoosier Park’s website as well.
