The streak started with Dealin Dan in race two. The 27-1 long shot won in 1:57.2, pacing his last quarter in :28.4 and paying $57.00 to win. Dealin Dan is owned by longtime Monticello Raceway patrons Joe and Kathy Rea and trainer John Stubits.

Aldrich came right back in the following race with odds-on favorite Ladybeluckytonite ($2.20). The 4-year-old Art Major mare scored in 1:58.2 in a six-length romp, her first seasonal win.

Virtuous Dragon ($5.00) accounted for Aldrich’s third driving win. The well-bred 6-year-old Dragon Again gelding, also owned and trained by Aldrich, went wire-to-wire in 1:59.2.

In the afternoon’s last race, Zinck’s Night ($6.40) scored a two-length wire-to-wire win in 1:59.3 for owner-trainer Sarah Osmeloski, giving Aldrich his fourth winner of the afternoon.

Live racing at Monticello resumes Monday (Feb. 3) with a 12:25 p.m. post time.
