Saratoga Springs, NY — Anja (Credit Winner) prevailed in the co-feature for New York sired trotters on Thursday afternoon (March 15) at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
The Dave Dewhurst-trained mare was a winning machine in 2017 when she scored 11 victories (many of which came on the New York Fair circuit).

Anja was a 2:00.2 winner on Thursday at Saratoga.
Anja cruised to her first win of ’18 in Thursday’s $7,500 co-feature as she was the public’s 4-5 betting favorite. Jimmy Devaux piloted Anja to a third and a second place finish in her first two tries of the campaign before the 4-year-old went coast to coast to prevail in 2:00.2 for career win number 15 in 50 lifetime tries.
Devaux guided another Dewhurst-trained trotter to victory on the matinee card as well as Time Is Fleeting (Lucky Chucky) registered his first career pari-mutuel score in 2:03.3.
The other co-feature was won in 1:59.4 by Trotamundo and driver Billy Dobson, who piloted three winners on the card.
