Harrington, DE — WJ McDougall Racing and Paul McDougall’s Apache Dame won the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace on Tuesday at Harrington Raceway in 1:55.1.

Apache Dame (Ross Wolfenden) gets up to win the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open.

The Tim Crissman-trainee launched a late rally with driver Ross Wolfenden and reeled in leader Cams Little Imp N in the final strides for the win. Jenny’s Picnic finished second, while Cams Little Imp N was third.

It was Apache Dame’s sixth win of the year as her seasonal earnings surpassed $90,000.

In the $11,000 Filly and Mare Winners Over Pace, Joann Looney-King’s Lucille A won wire-to-wire in 1:55.4. Front Tier Power was second, with Heavenly Hussy third.
