The E3 finals at the Färjestad racetrack Saturday afternoon, (June 30) were won by Attraversiamo and Zara Kronos, both of which hail from the same maternal line and on the paternal side Viking Kronos is found.
The Italian stud farm, Allevamento Kronos has for many years been aiming for Swedish horse racing and the Kronos horses in Sweden are as famous as they are in Italy.
Although it was not Kronos-bred trotters, that won the two finals in the E3 series at Färjestad Saturday afternoon, the Italian stud farm had a big share in the two wins, as both winners were out of Kronos-bred mares. The two winners have the same great-granddam.
In the Open class, the favorite Attraversiamo (Kiss Francais – Rhythm Kronos), driven by Erik Adielsson, won easily in 1.56 (mile rate), Iit was more surprising that Zara Kronos (Raja Mirchi – Regal Kronos) won the filly division final driven by Joakim Løvgren in 1.57f (mile rate). The distance in both finals were 1-5/16 mile and the purse for the winners was $105,000,
Both Rhythm Kronos and Zara Kronos have USA-bred Working Gal as their grandmother.
On the paternal side Viking Kronos is the grandsire of Attraversiamo and Zara Kronos, as he is the sire of Raja Mirchi and Rhythm Kronos.
