Monticello, NY — Newcomer Jason Bartlett put on a driving clinic at Monticello Raceway on Tuesday afternoon, January 15, when he reined six winners on the card.

Bartlett, 26, in from Maine where he won 457 races last year and almost 1,300 in the previous three seasons, is the first to win six races at Monticello since Stephane Bouchard did it nearly ten months ago.

He won the first race with Southview Sabre ($5.50) in 1:57 and didn’t win again until the fifth when he reined Biba’s Newphew ($3.80) to a 1:58.3 triumph.

After winning the sixth race with Kid Carrots ($4.90) in 2:02.1, Bartlett scored again in race eight behind Super Sidney C ($10.60) in a 1:56.3 clocking.

He closed the card winning the tenth race with Parawanga A ($4.00) in 2:00.2 and the 11th and final event with Reuben N ($9.00) in 2:00.2.
