Saratoga, NY — For the second consecutive week, Betabcool N (Bettor’s Delight) prevailed in the Fillies and Mares Open at Saratoga Casino Hotel. The Jose Godinez-trained distaffer parlayed a pocket trip to victory last week but on Friday night (March 16) went right out to the early lead.

Betabcool N wins her fourth race from six starts in 2018 on Friday evening at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
Owning lap one to the tune of first half fractions of :28.1 and :59 seconds, Betabcool N faced her first test approaching three quarters when Tempus Seelster (Billy Dobson) rushed up on the outside.
Betabcool N reeled Tempus Seelster in to prevail in last week’s $12,000 and with the roles somewhat reversed on Friday night, the result was the same.
Betabcool N, the race’s 1-2 betting favorite, scored in 1:55.4 while Tempus Seelster was the runner-up. Mydelight Bluechip (Ben Mcneil) earned the show spot.
The victory was the fourth in 2018 for Betabcool N in just six starts.
The evening’s driving star was Billy Dobson who piloted seven winners on the card.
