Bulldog Hanover horseshoes auction to benefit Horse Rescue United

Howell, NJ — Horse Rescue United (HRU), a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) non-profit horse rescue specializing in Standardbreds, will host a benefit auction on Facebook for a set of four horseshoes worn by all-time world record holder Bulldog Hanover beginning Friday (Aug. 19).

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to feed and care costs for HRU’s current rescue horses. The auction will end on Sunday (Aug. 21).

The four horseshoes were worn by Bulldog Hanover when he equaled the world record of 1:46. A decorative display plaque with the shoes will also be signed by Dexter Dunn and likely Noel Daley. The winner will also receive a laminated photo of Bulldog Hanover taken by Vicki Wright.

The shoes will start at $500 plus USPS shipping.
