Calgary Games in Paris

Swedish trotting sensation, 5-year-old Calgary Games, trained by Timo Nurmos and with Björn Goop in the bike, is favored to win the Prix Tenor de Baune at Vincennes Saturday afternoon (Dec. 24).

Unbeaten in 10 races in Sweden, Calgary Games will meet the best 5-year-old French trotters in the race over 1-11/16 miles and worth a total purse of 200,000 Euro.

The winner will get a ticket to race in the Prix d’Amerique a month from now.

Though at this point he is not qualified to race in the Prix d’Amerique, Calgary Games has been the bookmakers favorite for several weeks. Saturday Calgary Games will prove them right or wrong.

The race is carded as the sixth race at 9:15 a.m. (EST), and can followed at the webpage, Letrot.com.
