2024 Roadster Off-Track Series details
In January, the U.S. Trotting Association announced the creation of a new series of Roadster events. Details of that series, including the nomination form, are now available.
2023 Standardbred Incentive Program review
As the USTA gears up to present the 2023 divisional winners of the Standardbred Incentive Program (SIP), the association is pleased to announce that the program has seen considerable growth from the 2022 inaugural show season to the 2023 second annual season.
New Roadster Series announced
The U.S. Trotting Association is excited to announce a new series of Roadster events for the 2024 show season. Created for horses that either raced or were bred for the intention to race, the series is to promote Roadster events as a suitable second career for Standardbreds.
Standardbred Roadster 100 on Nov. 8
The second annual Standardbred Roadster 100 will be contested Wednesday (Nov. 8) at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Mo. The event will go for a $100,000 purse with $15,000 in additional incentives for the winning and reserve champion trainers.

Good Bet is a “good bet” in Endurance
The 2022 American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) High Mileage Standardbred, presented by the United States Trotting Association, is Good Bet. The now 14-year-old Bettor’s Delight gelding earned nearly $300,000 on the track but has found his second stride in the endurance world with new owner Lindsay Toms.
Inaugural SIP show season closing soon
The inaugural show season for the Standardbred Incentive Program (SIP) is coming to a close. Any shows attended that will be held through Nov. 30, 2022 count for the 2022 show season.
Dressage recognition with your Standardbred
In April, the USTA announced its renewed agreement with the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) as an All-Breeds Awards participating organization. With the show season in full swing, those that are showing Standardbreds in dressage may be eligible for even more awards through USDF and the USTA.
