Several important dates are upcoming for The Red Mile’s 2014 racing season.

The Meadows added the “instant” guarantee after Monday’s Pick-5 was uncovered, resulting in a three-day carryover of $11,587.31.

The Meadowlands has been a proud host to the Hambletonian for the past 34 years as America’s Trotting Classic has been calling East Rutherford, N.J., home since 1981. This year delivers a new and exciting aspect to the Hambletonian as it will be the first to be raced out of the brand new $100 million facility which opened in November 2013.

Adios Week at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino kicks-off the evening of Saturday (July 19), with Adios eliminations.

The track, in conjunction with the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, is guaranteeing the Pick-6 pool will be a minimum of $30,000 when racing resumes at the Minnesota five-eighths-mile oval on Tuesday night (July 15).

Running Aces Harness Park, in conjunction with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, has announced that the Saturday night (July 12) Pick-6 pool will be guaranteed at $8,000 minimum.

Maywood Park and the USTA Strategic Wagering Program will offer a guaranteed Pick-4 pool of $20,000 Friday night (July 11) thanks to the wager going unclaimed on Thursday night.

For the remainder of the Tuesdays in the 2014 season, the Scioto Downs race program will feature $5,000 claimers.
