Count Me In was named September’s Horse of the Month in Ohio.
The freshman son of Full Count-Howl opened the month on September 3 with a 15 length victory at the Burton Fair. One week later he followed that victory up with a dominating performance in the $75,000 Ohio Sire Stake championship at Scioto Downs. To conclude the month, Count Me In scored an open length victory in the $20,822 Ohio Breeders Championship. His winning time of 1:58 equaled the track record at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.
Count Me In is six of 10 this season and has earned $82,628 for Patricia J. Wollam and Acadia Farms. Chip Noble picked up the OSS final and OBC drives after driver/trainer Marty Wollam suffered injuries in a farming accident in early September.
