Columbus, OH — The 19th edition of the USTA Standardbred Driving School will convene on Wednesday (May 30) in Goshen, N.Y. Deadline for registration in May 15.
The school is open to anyone 16 years of age or older who is interested in learning more about owning, training and driving Standardbreds.
The school features an array of prominent owners, trainers and drivers, both amateur and professional, who will speak on all facets of the harness racing industry from care and conditioning of the horse to competing on the racetrack.
Students will spend the morning hours with “hands-on” experience with actual race horses completing a series of tasks from grooming, harnessing and jogging under the guidance of an instructor.
